BIO4D
European Research Council (EIC)
This project exploits materials chemistry to harness the advances of nature, through the use of self-ordering nanoparticles, responsive materials, and nanoscale 3D printing. Using this approach, it is possible to generate responsive tiny optical arrays, that can change colour under light, heat, vapour, or chemical analyte, to instantly camouflage and encrypt or to sense and diagnose.

IV-LAB
European Innovation Council (EIC)
The IV-Lab Project is working to develop a multi-sensing device implantable into blood vessels, such as peripheral veins or arteries. Once implanted in patients with cardiovascular diseases, the microsensor system will implement a platform with multiple sensing capabilities, targeting hemodynamic and biochemical parameters.

BIOINCA
SFI-IRC Pathway
This project will combine, self- assembling nano materials, stimuli-responsive polymers, 2 photon-polymerisation, and numerical simulation to yield programmable photonic structures, colour-mixing, angle independent colouration, and image encryption, which represent a new generation of dynamic photonic devices.
